Dr. Akeel Al-Dabboos is proud to be practicing in Barrie and serving the dental health needs of Barrie and area residents.  He welcomes you his dental practice.

Dr. Akeel completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1992 from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. With a driven passion to seek a better life, he decided to move to Canada with his family and finished his DMD at the University of British Columbia in 2013. He strongly believes in the power of continuous learning, particularly, when it comes to new and improved treatments and technology that improve the quality of his work. If not busy with work, Akeel loves spending time with his wife, May, and three children, Rand, Ahmed and Yousif. During vacations, you’ll find him on a road trip with his family and two cats driving through beautiful Canada!

Margaret graduated from York University with a Degree in Business Administration. She joined our team in 2000 following a lengthy career in business and has become an integral team member at adentaloffice.com.

In her spare time, Margaret always puts family first. An exercise enthusiast, you might find her taking a run around the lake or out for a bike ride and enjoying nature.

Joanne, RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist/Treatment Coordinator

While growing up, Joanne always found going to the dentist to be interesting and fun. She credits her interest in dentistry to her childhood hygienist, as she enjoyed every dental visit. Joanne started in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1994 after graduating from Seneca College in Scarborough, ON. Realizing her joy in helping others through the dental profession, she furthered her education and graduated from Durham College in 1998 as a registered dental hygienist. Joanne joined adentaloffice.com in 2015 and loves helping people improve their oral and overall health. Joanne enjoys her position as a treatment coordinator and clinical dental hygienist. She enjoys being part of a caring team that provides individualized treatment to patients.

Outside of work she enjoys walks by the lake with her dog and baking delicious treats.

Stephanie provides experience to adentaloffice.com along with a great personality and humour. Stephanie graduated with Honours from Cambrian College in Sudbury and thoroughly enjoys her career serving people and helping them understand more about their oral health. She loves to laugh and will be sure to put a smile on your face.

Stephanie enjoys life by spending time with her family and spending time in the gym.

Olga RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Olga enjoys working with a variety of people and educating patients so they achieve their dental goals. She started working in the field in 2015, as a dental assistant. She completed a dental hygiene diploma in 2018. In 2022, She joined Dr.Akeel and her coworkers and loves being part of a friendly, helpful team.

Outside of work, She enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They like to play board games, watch movies together, and hiking.

Certified Dental Assistant C.D.A Level II

Amanda graduated from Georgian College Dental Assisting Program and joined our team in 2011. She has proven herself to be a wonderful asset to the team. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. On her spare time she loves expressing her creative side by doing all sorts of home decor projects. Which she shows her passion for being creative when it comes to doing lab work at the office. She keeps up to date by continuing education yearly which is essential to maintaining the highest level of care.

Alex is a graduate of Georgian College and has been working as a level II dental assistant since 2013. Her favourite thing about dentistry is building trust and friendships with clients, as well as seeing their confidence build. When she’s not in clinic she enjoys floral design and the outdoors.

Front Desk Admin/ Treatment coordinator

Shannann joined our team in 2021, she brings with her over 10 years’ experience in the dental field, she enjoys her role as front desk administrator/treatment coordinator, her bubbly personality makes her a welcome addition to our team.

Shannann grew up in the small town of Nestleton, in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
